How to Obtain Export Registration Certificate in Bangladesh
Any company that wants to export any domestic items from Bangladesh that are allowed, regardless of the value or quantity, must have an export registration certificate. This Certificate’s legal foundation is established in The Export Policy Order 2015-18.
The documents required for issuance of ERC
- Passport size photograph of the applicant
- Valid Trade License
- Valid Membership Certificate form a regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry or from relevant Trade Associations.
- Citizenship Certificate of the applicant
- Treasury Challan
- TIN Certificate
- Partnership Deed
- Certificate of Incorporation, Memorandum and Articles of Association
- Financial Solvency Certificate
Procedure
The applicant must obtain the IRC Form from the CCI&E office or online, fill it out, and deliver it to the CCI&E office’s dispatch section along with any necessary supporting documentation. Three (3) copies of the Treasury Challan should be gathered, together with the registration fee and pass-book cost, which should be deposited at Bangladesh Bank or Sonali Bank.
The applicant must turn in the completed application form, the Treasury Challan, and the specified supporting documentation to the CCI&E office in order to obtain the Import Registration Certificate.
Renewal of ERC
ERC is required to be renewed every year. The required documents are:
- Original copy of ERC and ERC Passbook
- Treasury Challan
