How to obtain Environment Clearance Certificate in Bangladesh
A critical element toward sustainable economic growth is industrialization. However, environmental contamination such as soil, water, and air pollution may also result from industrialization. To lessen the negative effects of industrialization, the government of Bangladesh thus promotes environmental management. In order to protect the environment and reducing pollution, it passed the Bangladesh Environmental Conservation Act of 1995 and the Environment Conservation Rules of 1997. Article 18 A of the Bangladeshi constitution has been incorporated, stating that the government will work to preserve and safeguard the natural resources, biodiversity, wetlands, forests, and wildlife for the current and future generations.
